Super Mario : Mushrooms and Yoshi props

Some Power Up Mushroom and Yoshies head related from the Super Mario Series.

It used to be one of my homework for Concept Art Classes.
We had to take a shaped form and put painted texture on it, it's actually a lot of time put on it ! We were also allowed to take any shape, and one of the exemple was a Mario ! So I take a the emblematic Super Mushroom and take it into various form. It was really entertaining to do, also inspiring, I don't do this kind of painted drawing really often, so it's a good exercise ! I've already started to make the same exercice with Yoshi Head, and I'll perhaps do something similar with another character that I like...

Anyway, this is one of the many things I've been working on recently, but since this one is sort of fan art, I guess I can post it here.
